Dog’s Needs

Dog training is a conversation, we just need to listen.

• Does your dog need to remain calm when on the lead and seeing other dogs on walks?
• Does your dog need to be given the skills to cope better in the vets or groomers?
• Does your dog need help building confidence when out on walks?

Identifying your dog’s needs is going to be important, not just for their welfare but also ensuring the success of your training overall. All of the methods I use are non-confrontational and based on the most current knowledge in canine behaviour and training from research and practitioners.

What to Expect

Once I understand what you are looking to achieve we can work together on the path to making that a reality.

The courses are a combination of:

• Online content covering how dogs learn and summary of how to teach the behaviours each week (available in the member’s only area)
• Practical sessions that build on the online theory content.

The content is delivered in a way that you can look at the week’s theory and demo videos to have a good understanding before going to our practical lessons. This means that you can then really advance and push the behaviours to where you need them to be. This saves a lot of time in class that I would otherwise need to spend discussing the theory content and allows us to focus purely on training.
