Dog Reactivity Training & Rehabilitation

I am an experienced canine behaviourist specialising in helping adult dogs and their owners. Whether that is helping a rescue dog overcome previous trauma and thrive in your home or an adult dog who perhaps just missed out on training when they were young, I am here to help.

Canine Kin Training

Our Courses

As a canine behaviourist, I offer a variety of classes for dogs who need help putting a good foundation in place, including dog reactivity training and canine clicker training. Over the years of working as a dog trainer, I have identified the main challenges that owners face and offer courses to address these concerns. Are you wanting a dog who can be calm at home, walk nicely on the lead, and recall when called? Then you are in the right place.

How can I help you?

Over the last decade, I have worked with owners like you with their dogs and helped them to thrive. Whether through canine aggression training or assessing and treating causes of unwanted behaviour. I have worked as a lecturer for FE and HE students in canine behaviour and training as well as trained and rehabilitated dogs in rescue to save dogs who otherwise, were not rehomed. I will ensure the information and training I give is bespoke to you and is practical for you to do with the demands of your life.

LIFE SKILLS

How can I help your dog?

I have worked as a dog trainer and behaviourist in rescue for 5 years, offering canine aggression training and rehabilitating dogs who present with behavioural concerns.

I enjoy training the more challenging personalities that have been deemed untrainable and thrive on breeds such as Huskies, Malamutes, Mastiffs, and Akitas. I take pride in the dogs I have helped throughout my career and still maintain relations with the dogs and their new owners.

How do I deliver dog reactivity training?

I offer online virtual sessions as well as in-person dog behaviourist Warwickshire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Cotswolds based sessions. All the methods I use are compassionate, focusing on developing your dog’s mind to better equip them for success.

I hold a Master’s by Research and a BSc (Hons) in Animal Behaviour and Welfare; the methods I use are science-based, driven by research in the field of dog training and behaviour to ensure the most up-to-date methods are used when helping you with your dog.

New Skills

I am here to train you and your dog. I focus on equipping you with the skills needed to apply what we practise in class to the real world. Like the right way to perform canine clicker training with your dog. Whether that is at home or on a walk, it is of little use if you are unable to use the training when needed. Everything I teach is applied to scenarios that you can use it in, whether that is to be calm and settled when visitors come into your home or how to recall in a park full of dogs and people.
